Sales Lead Development Specialist

Virtual/Remote, US Full-time Allows remote

Seeq Corporation is seeking a Lead Development Specialist with at least 2 years of software pre-sales experience with middleware, analytics, data warehouse, business intelligence and/or data historian software for manufacturing customers. You will be driving lead development activities for Seeq’s advanced analytics application; daily tasks include evaluating, prospecting, and qualifying leads and scheduling product demonstration meetings. You will analyze sales statistics and business needs to provide recommendations to colleagues, customers and stakeholders. Requirements include expertise in Excel and Salesforce or other CRM systems.

The selected candidate will be energetic and self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude who enjoys new challenges and wishes to be part of a results-oriented team. You must have strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, enjoy talking on the phone and have an established record of initiating high volumes of calls. 

Relocation is not required, but high speed internet connection is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify (MQL), contact and develop sales qualified leads (SQLs)
  • Work to proactively manage, develop and enrich our CRM ( database
  • Deliver solution presentations via web and phone meetings 
  • Provide rapid, professional follow-up to product inquiries and fulfill information requests 
  • Directly perform telemarketing and warm calling activities to leads from trade shows, webinars, direct marketing campaigns and other lead sources 
  • Work in a team environment with Sales Executives and Marketing team to develop lead generation campaigns and prospect development strategies 
  • Consistently build and deliver an accurate pipeline via (SFDC)
  • Able to develop strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of successful pre-sales experience with focus on software technology and solutions
  • Ability to successfully sell business value vs. product features.
  • Experience working with a team of professionals in sales campaigns that include Analytics Engineers, Sales Executives, Marketing, Services, etc.
  • Experience working with virtual teams and/or management a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Possess entrepreneurial spirit or worked in a fluid (start-up) environment
  • Team player, self-motivated and able to take ownership on the assigned task(s)
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Takes direction, documents expectations & details, then executes with minimal direction.
